An unusual Saturday with the Bodgers

We are primarily home-bodies. Don’t get me wrong, we love to hang out with friends, but we just tend to spend a lot of time at home. Saturday was an anomily for us! We spent the day on the go.

Started out with a pre-screening movie event with Starlight-Starbright Children’s Foundation at Pacific Place (downtown Seattle). Bekah had been at a friend’s house and I picked her up at 8:20, headed home to collect the rest of the family, and we headed south. “Monsters vs. Aliens” opens in theaters Friday 2/27, and we were getting to see it early and in 3D! We arrived a little earlier than our necessary 9:15, and the movie didn’t start until 10:30 – long wait! Fun movie, though!

Lunchtime, so we headed home for a fridge-cleaning meal of left-overs before heading back out to Sammamish’s Marymoor Park and their off-leash dog area. It’s the fact that we headed back out that is so unusual, but we’re trying to get Jordan away from games more and more. And a little time outside was a breath of fresh air, indeed.

We headed toward the car, visited with some other dogs, and made the trek (35 minutes) home to get cleaned up! Willie and Ashley ran to Costco while Bekah and the dog got bathed. Then, Bekah donned an outfit of red from head to toe so we could go to Red Robin for dinner! What a treat!

After dinner, we went to the bowling alley and watched church friends in their league bowling.

What an amazing day!! Everyone slept amazingly last night!
